In 2013, a world bank grant on higher education led us to a startling discovery - online training through a Learning Management Systems (LMS) just doesn't work. Content creation is a nightmare, usability is very poor, hands-on knowledge is rarely captured, and unless forced, user-engagement is low to non-existent.
To overcome this, we built a radically new approach to training called the "Engaged Education Methodology" (EEM) an agile 3-step learning methodology built to maximize user participation and retention.
This is championed through LayUp - the learning driven social platform.
We believe that to truly make education useful it has to be fun, easy and engaging. LayUp was created in the latter stages of 2014, and has already grown to over 15,000 users across the globe..
